WVCAP Membership Benefits
As a member of WVCAP, you will receive a range of benefits including access to the network of Community Action Agencies who share your commitment to increasing the economic security and self–sufficiency of West Virginia’s low-income individuals and families.
Networking and Collaboration
Through bi-monthly board meetings and quarterly association meetings, WVCAP maintains a platform for information and resource sharing. Quarterly association meetings provide an opportunity for members to expand networking to other state agencies, non-profits and concerned citizens.
WVCAP provides the vehicle for statewide initiatives and collaborative projects for member agencies.
Training and Technical Assistance
WVCAP facilitates many training and technical assistance opportunities to help member agencies increase and enhance their capacity to provide services to low-income individuals and families. Training and technical assistance are provided through a variety of methods, including webinars, workshops, conferences, etc.

Advocacy and Outreach
WVCAP provides opportunities for member agencies to develop and influence public policy through the work of our lobbyist and legislative events. WVCAP also provides opportunities for national advocacy through our membership with the Community Action Partnership, CAPLAW and NCAF.
